Laurand Lewandowski is the Director of Asphalt Innovation for Owens Corning. His team is focused on all aspects of shingle recycling and Sustainability in general. Laurand currently co-chairs ARMA’s Asphalt Roofing Recycling Committee and is an active member of the Asphalt Institute and Asphalt Institute Foundation. Prior to the last 13 years at Owens Corning, Laurand worked at PRI Asphalt Technologies as the VP of Business Development. He has spent 15 years exploring shingle recycling technologies. He has over 30 years in the asphalt industry split equally between roofing and paving. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Akron in Polymer Science. Outside of work, Laurand loves to golf and spend time with his three adult children.
